A dispatch from St. Louis states that Zack Mulhall, who has been live stock agent of the Santa Fe for many years, and is well known
to all the stockmen of the country, has been appointed general live stock agent of the Frisco railroad and will have headquarters
at St. Louis. In securing Mr. Mulhall, the Frisco has shown the same care that has been evident in all of the
appointments made under the new management. It is announced in that connection that the Frisco has decided upon a plan of active work
in the live stock trade and will spare no pains to secure as much of the trade as possible. There have been many evidences of
anything but cordial relations between the Frisco and the Santa Fe since the separation, and it is noticeable that at
every opportunity the Frisco picks up the prominent employees of the Santa Fe road.
