A Sad Tale
By The Blind Tiger
Daily Illini, 27 Sep 1927

Oh! Wigglebaum Sniglekauwitzer, --
Was an Irish-Slavakian-Russ.
He embarked on the mud-boat "Whokissedher"
To teach Yankee girlies to fuss.
He went to a frat-dance at collitch -
He was grabbed by a beautiful "femme" -
She said "I'm tired of knowledge,
Of Rhet 2 and Physics and Chem.
Let's go for a walk in Urbana -
We'll forget all this sadness et-cet,
Come with mama out here in the moonlight,
And see how a co-ed can pet."

***********

Oh! Wigglebaum Sniglekauwitzer, --
Was an Irish-Slavakian-Russ.
He embarked on the mud-boat "Whokissedher"
With his map in a terrible muss!

         The Blind Tiger.
