Mary's Mother's Refried Spaghetti

1 | lb | hamburger |

Cook pasta, drain and set aside.
Fry hamburger, keeping it in ground form. I use 90 percent fat free, then
wash the hamburger in a strainer after it's cooked.
Return hamburger and pasta to a frying pan, and cover with a thick layer of
catsup. Stir together to cover pasta, then fry, stirring constantly, until
the spaghetti is dry, but not burned.
The color will turn from red to brown,
and the dish will have a sweet/sour flavor.

I was raised on this, and it's my comfort food. And, yes, I
do enjoy pasta with the traditional tomato sauce, but that's a completely
different dish.
