But when I requested information on Moore and the Christmas poem from the Museum of the City of New York some time after Don had published his chapter, I was shocked to discover that in the pile was the original of that letter, and it wasn't alone. It turned out to be a cover letter that included a copy of Tuttle's 1830 Troy Sentinel Broadsheet of the poem.
