All in all, there were twenty-one differences between the original publication of the poem in 1823 and the version that Moore published in 1844.

"Mr. Moore also told my father when he came to publish the same, with some of his other poems, he only made two slight changes in the lines as originally written by him."

In other words, Moore didn't know the difference between the 1823 version of the poem and the 1830 versions of the poem!
