I just wanted to tell you that I enjoyed your article about the "Burro," every word of it, and only wish it could reach the men that mistreat any animal. But articles of that kind are never read by the ones that should read them. They are too heartless to consider anything but themselves and would abuse a woman the same way if she would allow them to.

I shall watch the paper and see if you write anything more about animals.
