Jack Bell, Newspaperman Known All Over Country, to Operate Here

Plans Become Known An Effort Is Made to Block Him Without Effect

During the past two weeks Jack Bell well known nationally in newspaper circles has been organizing the Nevada New Bureau and Advertising Agency, a concern with officers in this city to engage in a general news gathering ande distributing business and also to handle advertising accounts.

Mr. Bell has made no secret of his plans and has been in touch with both telegraphic companies, secured a telephone number and made arrangements with Peck & Sample for offices on the second floor in the Journal block.

Yesterday Mr. Bell was surprised to read that not only had his idea been usurped, but the name he had selected had been taken also and an announcement made that the plans which he had outlined were being used by another person.

Mr. Bell stated last evening that he had gone so far as to have the name copyrighted and had already sent out letters over his signature on stationery bearing the name of the Nevada News Bureau and Advertising Agency, and that he would protect himself in the use of this name in instituting legal proceeding if necessary.

Inasmuch as Mr. Bell originated the idea and has already been in communication with many clients he has no intention of forsaking his plans and will carry the project through as originally intended.
