John E. Bell Made Purchasing Agent of Independence
Everybody is glad to see "Jack" Bell, newspaper man, mining man, general man of business and excellent in every line of endeavor to which he has lent his
splendid ability and indomitable energy.
Mr. Bell returned with his wife and daughter yesterday from an extended visit in the East and remained in Denver last night.
This afternoon he passes on to Victor where, on tomorrow, he assumes the duties of purchasing agent for the Stratton Independence company.
This puts him second in charge at the mine.
It was at the earnest instance of the management of that corporation that Mr. Bell accepted this important position.
He about concluded arrangements for entering another field of labor, when the company's managers, who know his worth and place special trust and
confidence in him, over-persuaded him and finally he agreed to take charge of the purchasing department.
No man is better fitted for this, or any other position connected with the mining industry than is Mr. Bell, and surely no man has more friends, or better friends, or deserves them more than does he.
Mr. Bell will make his home at Victor and will be found at his post of duty every working day in the year.
