Gaston Gerard (1859-x)
[G. Gerard, Gaston-Gerard]
Teacher of:   Delphin Enjolras (1857-1945)

Gaston Gerard is another French painter, but one who adheres more closely to decorative than classical lines. In his "Voice of Evening" he suggests the hour lulling the world to sleep with her soft notes of song.

[This Gaston Gerard should not be confused with the Art Noveau artist, Gaston Gerard (1878-1969). There are a good number of books on art authored by Gaston Gerard, but without a death date on the elder, I'm not sure which Gerard to associate with which book.]
