One of the younger Frenchmen who have attracted attention at the great exhibitions is the painter of "A Bather." He comes of artistic stock, at the head of which stood the famous painter of animals and one of the greatest etchers the world has produced, Auguste Lancon, and is a graduate of the Paris Art School.
