Steam the stringbeans in a basket and pull out and set aside before they're
quite done. They'll keep cooking and get overdone if you just turn them off.
Or steam a whole cauliflower.
Or go hogwhile and do both!
Melt butter in a frying pan, then add slivered almonds. Keep the heat low and
stir CONSTANTLY. It gets boring for a while because nothing seems to happen.
The change will come very quickly when it does come, though, so you have to
stay alert. The butter will become darker and frothier. Get it before it
burns.
Take the pan off the heat and hold aside. Reheat your vegetable and your
almond butter at the last minute, if
necessary, then pour the almond butter over the veggie just as you're about to
serve it.
