Buttercream Frosting

1lbpowdered sugar
1/2cupsoft butter
1/8teaspoonsalt
1teaspoonvanilla
3-4tablespoonsmilk

Cream one-third of sugar with butter and salt in large bowl. Blend extract, 2 tablespoons milk and remaining sugar into mixture. Gradually stir remaining milk into frosting until desired spreading consistency is reached.

Makes enough to frost two 9" round layers.
