Chop onions and sage leaves. Cook together in small amount of olive oil until sweet. This can take 20 minutes.
Remove from pan.
Cook broken mushrooms in the onion pan until cooked. Save mushrooms and juice.
Cook baby carrots in small saucepan with water. Drain and save carrots.
Cook hamburger. Drain of any grease and rinse under hot water to get off grease.
Mix together the cooked onions and hamburger with the mushrooms and carrots. Add small pieces of asparagus
and frozen peas. Season with cinnamon, nutmeg, salt and pepper.
Place in ungreased glass lasagna pan. Spread cooked mashed potatoes over top.
Cook in 350 degree oven for 1/2 hour.
