Description:
House tours, storytelling, and refreshments. This year's mansion decorations will feature scenes from classic holiday tales, such as the Nutcracker and Christmas Carol. Storytellers will perform live in the Visitor Center at 2:30 and 3:30 pm. Admission includes cider and cookies.

Description:
Locust Grove was once home to Henry Livingston, Jr., the man whom many scholars now believe was the author of the famous holiday poem 'Twas the Night Before Christmas. Livingston descendant Mary S. Van Deusen introduced a computer-based exhibit on the life of Henry Livingston, Jr., at 4:15 PM in the Visitor Center.

And at 5:00 PM, Mary S. Van Deusen led a candlelight reading of the poem.

Visitors were invited to bring candles.
