ZACH MULHALL FOUND GUILTY
AND GOES TO PEN

Muskogee Democrat, 26 Jan 1905

(By Associated Press)
St. Louis, Jan. 26.-
The jury which tried Zach Mulhall, the great live stock agent of the St. Louis and San Francisco railroad, and well known cattle man, who is charged with assault with intent to kill Ernest Morgan, found him guilty and assessed him punishment at three years imprisionment in the penitentiary.

Morgan was shot while watching a fight between Mulhall and Frank Reed, a cowboy, employed at the wild west show on the World's Fair Pike, June last.

Mulhall testified in his own behalf, declaring the shooting of Morgan was accidential, and that it was no bullet from his revolver that struck Morgan. Morgan said he saw Mulhall fire the shot that struck him. Morgan also stated that no shots were fired except by Mulhall.
