THE MARIETTA PICNIC
Large Crowds Are in Attendance
Roping Contests This Afternoon

Ardmore Daily Ardmoreite, 21 Jul 1905

Marietta, I. T., July 21.-
The champiion lady roper of the world, Miss Lucille Mulhall, accompanied by her father, Col. Zack Mulhall, her brother, Charles, and little sister, Mildred, and several attendants, has arrived here. The broncho busting and roping contests will be pulled off this afternoon and tomorrow.

Large crowds are here to witness the contests and attend the picnic.

The northbound Santa Fe today brought in a large crowd from Gainesville and other points south on that road.

The rain of last evening will prove beneficial to the crops and will help to make the picnic more enjoyable to the visitors and citizens here.
