Col. Mulhall in Charge.
Inside the enclosure of the standard half mile track, where the rodeo will be staged, Col. Zack Mulhall, famous rough rider and friend of the late
Col. Theodore Roosevelt, will be in charge.
Horses used in the rodeo will include many trained by Colonel Mulhall and brought from his Oklahoma ranch.
Another carload of trained ponies will be shipped to Mayetta from the 101 ranch in Bliss, Okla.
With the horses which Colonel Mulhall will bring to Kansas for the affair, will come the last horse that Colonel Roosevelt rode before his death.
The animal was sent from Washington to Colonel Mulhall to take care of during the rest of its life.
The rodeo program will consist of the riding and roping of wild Texas steers, bucking horses and roping and riding contests.
To insure the safety of performers at the rodeo, the fair management has arranged with Dr. A. R. Talbott of Hoyt to open a first aid station and
maintain it throughout the fair. This first aid station also will be equipped to care for any sudden cases of sickness that may develop among
visitors to the fair. Besides the staff of physicians and nurses, Sheilabarger's ambulance from Topeka will be on hand.

The appearance of Miss Lucille Mulhall, greatest lady rider and roper i the world, will be one of the rodeo features. With her will be
Fred Benson and Eddie Burgess, the latter an Indian rider, and many others well known thruout the Western country.
