LUCILLE AND CHARLEY MULHALL
Something About These Phenomenally Clever Young People

Coffeyville Daily Journal, 27 Jul 1905

Zack Mulhall, live stock agent for the Frisco railway, is known all over the cattle country and among stockmen of St. Louis and Kansas City as a thorough cattleman, nervy and possessed of great executive ability. His son and daughter are even more famous. When Col. Mulhall decides to locate the great Interstate and Territorial Exposition at Coffeyville, Kansas, he was prevailed upon by his associates to make Lucille and Charley's performances a feature. Lucille will be remembered by the thousands at St. Louis and "101" ranch, who witnesses her marvelous roping feats, her skill and daring and her superb riding.

Charley Mulhall claims the proud distinction of being the champion rider of the world. He will have to contest for his title at Coffeyville September 9 against the best riders in the country for the $500 purse, divided into three prizes.

The brother and sister will rope and ride on each of the three days of the exposition and theya re certainly a star attraction even in a tournament of this magnitude.

Col. Mulhall has promised to scour the whole country for the wildest, trickiest and most vicious horses that are to be found for the broncho busting contests.
