Mildred Mulhall Acton is still training horses
Kerrville Mountain Sun, 28 Aug 1941

That the Mildred Acton, who supervised the Western riding classes at Waldemar was the former Mildred Mulhall of the Mulhall Ranch, near Guthrie, Okla., and who has been world's champion trainer of high school horses. Her sister, Lucille Mulhall, who was killed last Christmas, was for a number of years the champion woman rider and steer roper in the world. Old-time cattlemen will remember their father, who at one time was the country's richest cattleman, and who drove cattle up the trail to Dodge City, Kansas, along in the '89's. Mrs. Acton has her own string of trained high school horses and wins prizes in all shows.
