This morninbg the Oklahoma Rough Rider band, of Mulhall, Okla, and the Frisco line band, of Guthrie, were in the city with several officers
of Governor Barnes' staff, on their way to Washington, D. C., to take part in the inaugural ceremonies next week. The Mulhall band is
made up mostly of rough riders and it will act as Vice President Roosevelt's special organization, having been assigned a place in
the parade immediately ahead of the vice president and his escort. This band goes to Wichita, where the uniforms will be secured and their
special car will be given them. Charles Duncan, formerly of this city, is with this band and will play solo B flat, clarinet. The
other organization is the Oklahoma first regiment band, but is to be known as the Frisco Line band. ZZack Mulhall, general live stock
agent for the Frisco, has it in charge and is taking the band at the expense of the Frisco railroad. The band goes to Wichita,
where a special car for it is also secured and from there over the Frisco to St. Louis. A hot time ius promised the members of
these organizations. Several prominent politicians of Oklahoma were also on the train, en route to Washington.
